Announcement: Print Journals/Magazines

Due to the COVID-19 health emergency, print journals and magazines will not be available for browsing or circulation until further notice. Many subscriptions have been canceled for now, perhaps permanently, and most others are not being sent to us until some future time to be determined. Please let us know of any titles you request to be restarted when the time is right.

*No nursing/health occupations related titles were canceled, but we are not currently receiving issues until some point in the future to be determined.

Laptop Checkout

Nicolet College Library offers a limited number of laptops and/or netbooks for checkout. The loan period for these items is currently seven days. The loan period is subject to change at the library's discretion, but the loan period in effect at the time of checkout is binding for that transaction.

Some key items to note are

  • Overdue fines accrue at $10 per day.
  • Non-return of a laptop will be considered THEFT after two weeks. Nicolet College may pursue criminal and/or civil action at anytime after this period, with or without notice. 
  • The borrower is responsible for damage to the laptop and may be charged for repair or replacement. If the damage appears to be intentional, criminal action may be pursued.
  • The borrower is responsible for properly saving all documents and files somewhere other than the laptop. YOUR FILES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE LAPTOP AFTER IT IS POWERED OFF.
