Books are valuable resources for most topics because they usually contain in-depth examinations.
Generally speaking, books are considered a reliable source of information because they are typically thoroughly reviewed prior to publication.
Due to a longer publication process, books are usually not good sources for very current information.
It is a good idea to use books in conjunction with other resources to get both an in-depth look at your research topic as well as current developments in the field.
