Electronics at Nicolet College

Nicolet College has a number of electronic items available for checkout to current Nicolet College students in good standing. Items may be checked out at the Nicolet College Bookstore on the second floor of the Lakeside Center. Some examples of available devices:

  • laptops
  • hotspots
  • digital cameras (must be enrolled in a photography course)

Where: The Bookstore is located in the Lakeside Center, 2nd floor at the curvy desk you see to your left as you come up the main stairs, or to your left as you exit the elevator on the 2nd floor. Staff can assist you at the end station, nearest the lake.

Electronic Checkout Basics

Nicolet College Bookstore offers a limited number of laptops, hotspots and digital cameras (must be enrolled in a photography course) for checkout to current Nicolet College students in good standing. The loan period is subject to the Bookstore's discretion, but in general, devices may be checked out for a full term.

Some key items to note

  • Electronic devices are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • The borrower is responsible for damage to these items and may be charged for repair or replacement.
  • The borrower is responsible for returning these items no later than the specified due date indicated upon checkout.  Electronic devices 30 or more days past due will be considered non-returned.
  • Charges for items lost, damaged, or thirty or more days past due, will include the item(s) replacement cost and a processing fee.  Please review the "Nicolet College Electronic Device Lending Policy and Agreement" for additional details on charges for lost, damaged and non-returned items:

  • When outstanding bills are turned over for collection, they may not be resolved by returning the item(s). Prior to that event, at the discretion of the Bookstore, return of the item(s) in good circulating condition may be considered.

Disability Support Services Electronics

Electronics specific to DSS, including laptops, voice recorders and Smart Pens, are circulated at the Bookstore, located on the 2nd floor of the Lakeside Center.
