Who can borrow from Nicolet College Library?

All students, alumni, staff and faculty of Nicolet College, as well as residents of Nicolet's six county district, are welcome to use Nicolet College Library's services and borrow items. 

Items can be borrowed from and returned to the Lake Julia (Rhinelander) campus.

How to get a Nicolet College Library account

All students, alumni, staff and faculty of Nicolet College, as well as residents of Nicolet's six county district, are welcome to establish an account with the Nicolet College Library. The library card that accompanies the account is free! To establish this account, you must: 

  • Be a student, alumnus, staff or faculty of Nicolet College, or be a resident within Nicolet's six county district
  • If you are not a student, staff or faculty member, you must complete an application. The application can be obtained at the circulation station on the third floor of the Lakeside Center
  • Present a photo ID
  • Present proof of your current address if your address doesn't match that on your ID

Once you have an account with the Nicolet College Library, you must be able to provide your library card or a photo ID in order to borrow items.

Fines

Reserves/Interlibrary Loan $2.00 per day $20 maximum
Laptops/Netbooks $10.00 per day $100 maximum
Other Electronics $5.00 per day $50.00 maximum

Requests to renew electronic devices must be made in person at the Bookstore. 

For all other items: If your item can be renewed, renewals can be done in person with library staff in the Lakeside Center, by phone at 715.365.4479, text 715.953.2160 at or by e-mail at LibraryInfo@nicoletcollege.edu. You may also chat with the library using the red chat button on this website.

If another patron has placed a hold on an item, a renewal is not possible even if it is something that normally would be renewable.
